Mia Day
Mentor in design and farming
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Harmony Foundation
- 2012 to 2023
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 470 people through Harmony Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Mia
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Mia: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first design job in 2015. I still have your notes. Greetings from Dehiwala.
