I spent nine years as a lecturer in economics at Summit Institute of Technology in İzmir. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Metin: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
