I taught English literature and statistics at Bahir Dar Boys' School, Bahir Dar. I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 210 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Meseret
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Meseret: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
