Meseret Sosina Lemma
Masonry for ten years in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Workshop
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Amharic, Spanish
I've worked in masonry from 2014 to 2024. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 470 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Meseret: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
