For eight years I was the Spanish teacher at Bornova Boys' School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Merve
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Merve: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
