For 29 years I have been the agriculture teacher at Istanbul Boys' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mert: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
