Mert Berk Yalçın
Teacher at Elmwood Primary School, loves chemistry
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 1995 to 2011
- English, Turkish
I taught chemistry at Elmwood Primary School in Üsküdar from 1995 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Mert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mert: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
