Mert Barış Yavuz
Teacher at Ankara Secondary School, loves early years

For nine years I was the early years teacher at Ankara Secondary School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mert
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mert: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
