I taught statistics at Highland Middle School in Ankara from 1984 to 2005. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mert: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
