Mercy Upendo Mugisha

Physics and English literature teacher, Jinja

  • 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • Jinja Primary School
  • Since 1987
  • English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Mercy

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
