I teach music at Kano Primary School in Kano since 1997. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mercy
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Mercy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2025 at Kano Primary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

you taught me music in 2011 at Kano Primary School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Truly.
