Mercy Nkechi Ajayi
Oud and traditional drumming teacher
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- 2013 to 2024
- English, Hausa
I play oud and traditional drumming. I started in 2013 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Mercy: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
