Mercy Janet Mutua
Coached cricket for 33 years in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Youth Club
- 1987 to 2020
- English, Swahili
For 33 years I ran the cricket program at Embakasi Youth Club in Embakasi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm still learning every day.
