Mercy Fatima Okoro

Social studies teacher at Asaba Technical College, Since 1979

🇳🇬 Asaba, Delta, Nigeria
Asaba Technical College
Since 1979
English, Igbo

For 47 years I have been the social studies teacher at Asaba Technical College. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mercy

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Social studies Physics

What gifts mean to Mercy: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
