Mercedes R. Tapia
Teacher at New York Middle School, loves art
- 🇺🇸 New York, New York, United States
- Since 1981
- English, Spanish
New York Middle School is my second home. I teach art there since 1981, mostly the final-year class.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mercedes
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mercedes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me art in 1991 at New York Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
