Mercedes G. Velasco
Coached softball for 25 years in Macon
- 🇺🇸 Macon, Georgia, United States
- Macon Sports Club
- 1985 to 2010
- English, Spanish
For 25 years I ran the softball program at Macon Sports Club in Macon. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Mercedes: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
