Alcalá de Henares Technical College was my second home. I taught special education there from 1992 to 2008, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mercedes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mercedes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
