Mercedes A. Macías
Volunteer mentor with Sunrise Learning Hub
- 🇪🇸 Granada, Andalusia, Spain
- Sunrise Learning Hub
- Since 2009
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 780 people through Sunrise Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I sing in a choir.
More about Mercedes
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Mercedes: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
