Mensah Sarpong

Choir director and singer

🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
Silverlake Quartet
1978 to 2014
English

I've played tabla from 1978 to 2014, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Mensah

I wrote my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
