Mensah Michael Darko
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Little Tema Pottery
- Since 1997
- English, Twi
I'm a printmaking artist based in Tema. I've been making things since 1997 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Mensah
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Mensah: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
