Mensah Lawrence Fosu

Self-taught printmaking artist

🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana
Madina Studio
Since 2002
English, Twi

I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2002 at Madina Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Madina Studio, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mensah

I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

Mediums

Printmaking Sculpture

What gifts mean to Mensah: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
