Meltem Polat
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye
- Bursa Repairs
- 2008 to 2024
- English, Spanish
I'm a leatherwork specialist. If you live around Bursa, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Meltem
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Meltem: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
