Meltem Ecrin Kara
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇹🇷 Kadıköy, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Since 2015
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2015 at Kadıköy Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I run most mornings.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
