Melek Gizem Koç
Coached gymnastics for 29 years in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Starlight Sports Club
- 1980 to 2009
- English, French
I coached gymnastics at Istanbul Starlight Sports Club from 1980 to 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
