My subject is agriculture, and for 41 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Meadowbank Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Melek: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
