I teach art at Unity Academy in Augsburg since 1985. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Melanie
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Melanie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 1992. You believed I could do it before I did Greetings from Bakersfield.

You taught me art in 2019 at Unity Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.
