Melanie R. Brown
Master of electrical work, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
- Old St. Anne's Repairs
- Since 1979
- English
I've worked in electrical work since 1979. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,880 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Melanie
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Melanie: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
