Newcastle upon Tyne Girls' School was my second home. I taught physical education there from 1980 to 2008, mostly the youngest children.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
