I taught home economics at Cleveland Grammar School in Cleveland from 2007 to 2018. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Melanie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
