For nine years I ran the chess program at Munich Andes Swimming Club in Munich. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Melanie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Melanie: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
