Melanie D. Vasquez
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

- English, French
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1994. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,570 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Melanie: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
