I taught art at Essen Grammar School in Essen from 1999 to 2018. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Melanie
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Melanie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2006 at Essen Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Truly.
