Melanie B. Byrd

Home economics and special education teacher, Wollongong

  • 🇦🇺 Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia
  • Lotus Primary School
  • Since 1998
  • English
I teach home economics at Lotus Primary School in Wollongong since 1998. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I play music while people worked. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Melanie

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
