Mekonnen Nebiyu Girma
Helping people break into trades
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Sakura Mentoring Circle
- Since 1979
- English, Amharic
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,220 people through Sakura Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mekonnen
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
