Mekonnen Leul Tesfaye
Teacher at Hawassa High School, loves early years
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Hawassa High School
- Since 2015
- English, Amharic
For eleven years I have been the early years teacher at Hawassa High School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Mekonnen
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me early years in 2017 at Hawassa High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on! Greetings from New York.
