I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in intensive care at Addis Ababa Maternity Hospital in Addis Ababa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
