For 28 years I was the biology teacher at Mekelle Secondary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mekonnen
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mekonnen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me biology in 2012 at Mekelle Secondary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
