Mekdes Yeshi Abate
Teacher at Redwood Grammar School, loves physics
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Redwood Grammar School
- Since 1983
- English, Amharic, Spanish
I teach physics at Redwood Grammar School in Adama since 1983. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mekdes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
