I teach chemistry at Jimma Primary School in Jimma since 1997. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,310 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mekdes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
