Mekdes Marta Abate

Home economics and music teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Bamboo Secondary School
  • 2009 to 2018
  • English, Amharic
Bamboo Secondary School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 2009 to 2018, mostly teenagers. I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.

More about Mekdes

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
