I farm cocoa near Addis Ababa. The land was my family's before me and I hope it will be someone's after me.
I teach local school groups about where food comes from. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Mekdes: Any gift will help me fix the irrigation before the dry months.
