I'm a musician from Gondar. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mekdes
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mekdes: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
