Mei Sugawara
Painter, potter and teacher at Kyoto Print Workshop
- 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
- Kyoto Print Workshop
- Since 1987
- Japanese, French
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1987 at Kyoto Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Kyoto Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Mei: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
