Mei Sachiko Ishikawa

Keeper of the literacy programs

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Heritage Branch Library
  • Since 1990
  • Japanese, Spanish
For 36 years I look after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Heritage Branch Library. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. A library should feel like a living room. I'm still learning every day.
