Mehwish Hira Javed
Professor of agriculture, Karachi Polytechnic
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- Karachi Polytechnic
- Since 1984
- English, Punjabi, French
My subject is agriculture, and for 42 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Karachi Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
More about Mehwish
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Mehwish: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
