Mehwish Bisma Iqbal
Jazz and songwriting teacher
- 🇵🇰 Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Peshawar Quartet
- 1989 to 2017
- English, Punjabi
I've played jazz from 1989 to 2017, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Mehwish
I wrote my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Mehwish: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
