Megumi Ota

20 years teaching mathematics in Setagaya

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • Setagaya High School
  • Since 1985
  • Japanese
For 41 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Setagaya High School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Megumi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
