I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in elder care at Hillcrest Health Center in Jakarta Selatan. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
