Meenakshi K. Balakrishnan
Teacher at Brookfield Academy, loves biology
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India

- 2008 to 2019
- English, Spanish
I taught biology at Brookfield Academy in Pune from 2008 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Meenakshi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Meenakshi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me biology in 2013 at Brookfield Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
