I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,970 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Meena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Meena: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
